JooJoo awesome
Okay, how cute is this store? I pretty much want to have one of everything in here. Not only do the tiny little earrings look like miniature works of food art, but even her non-food work looks nearly good enough to eat!
See? The necklace looks like a perfectly iced cookie!
Plus, she makes little adorable creatures, including cake toppers!!

Pretty Paperie
This super sweet white fairy dress is being given away to one lucky winner from Robyn over at http://paperieboutique.com/
Apart from being a stunning photographer in her own right, she runs a brilliant blog about photographer packaging and marketing ideas. I love all of her work and she’s graciously agreed to give away this sweet fairy dress just to celebrate some magic in your life! This dress is size small, which fits toddler size!
So, how do you win? Go to your blog, Facebook account, Flickr account, or Twitter account and post the following:

Photo rope awesome
Don’t you just love unique ideas? I do! Instead of putting a ton of photos in little frames all over your house to be forgotten or stuck all over your fridge to fall off, here’s a great solution from the folks over at PhotoJojo. Magnetic photo ropes. Magnetic cable comes in 5 different colors, you just hang it up anywhere. The super-strong magnets hold your photos on, making it way easy to change them out. Put up photos of your family, your pets, your kids, silly self portraits… anything!
Note to parents: this should never be placed in a room with small children. Any magnet can be fatal if swallowed!

Oh the cute-manity!
Oh my goodness, just LOOK at these adorable crayons! Don’t they just put a little spring in your step and make you want to color? I’d almost want to buy two sets, one for coloring and one for just looking at and putting a little color in my house! These would just make me so happy every time I used them!

Ollie Girl!
I know a lot of you mothers who have done my outdoor Fairytales have asked why I don’t do Disney costumes. I always say it’s because I don’t want to get into the characters or copyright. Secretly though, I sometimes wish I did, because then I’d be able to use these gorgeous gowns. Take a look through her etsy store, I dare you to find something you don’t like. My favorite is the Tiana dress!

A little dew magic
I do a 365 every year (take one photo a day for a whole year); this year it has monthly themes. April’s theme has been ‘water’ since I expected that it would be very rainy and wet. Well.. not here! It has rained twice this month. Ive had to really go hunting for fun water photos! I think my favorite is to take my macro lens out and get as super-close as I can to dew or frost covered leaves and flowers. It really reminds me of the Disney movie Fantasia, where the fairies are sprinkling everything with tiny dew droplets. Especially spider webs. They look like miniature jewels strung up in the air. I can imagine tiny fairies or bird using these as necklaces!

How to find these beauties? Early morning in the shade, before the sun dries the ground. Take a macro lens you can get close with (I use a Sigma 50mm Macro 2.8 which has a minimum focusing distance of about 3 inches) and get on your knees in the grass! You’ll get super wet and a little muddy, so don’t take good pants or shoes.

Flowerfoot
Flowers are popping up all over women’s and toddler fashion these days and I love it! I love touches of nature in normal things. Little flowers in someone’s hair, leaves on a pair of pants.. it makes me feel like we’re not isolating ourselves from the beauty outside. To that point, I was playing around on zappos.com today looking for some replacements for my favorite pair of sandals (Bass Sharons, in case you wanted some uber-comfy flats). I’ve squished all the padding out of mine over the past three years and it’s time to get some new ones. I ran across some really fun shoes there that made me think magic, so I knew I had to share!

Bed crowns
Have you ever heard of a bed crown? No? I hadn’t either until I stumbled over a few while poking around on home sites looking for interior decorating tips for me. I thought these sweet things looked adorable and a perfect way to add a little magical touch to a girl’s room. Just click on the photos to be taken to the sites!

When I was little, my family dyed Easter eggs every year but one (and that year it was only because it was pouring) and hid them outside. I remember being fascinated that normal eggs could go from blank canvas to little works of art. My tips for super sweet hand-dyed eggs:
1. Buy two dye packs. One for the dye cups to dip eggs in and one for a plate. Just add a few drops of water to each tablet and you’ve got an palette of super-strong dyes to paint on your eggs.
2. A clear crayon or a drippy candle will add spots or stripes of white to the egg that the dye won’t reach when you dip the eggs.
3. Use 3 cups of water for pastel colors, 3 cups of water plus 3 tablespoons of lemon juice for classic colors and 3 cups of water plus 3 tablespoons of vinegar for really bright colors!
